Our goal as the Design Department at Seymour Lumber is to work with you to provide a thoughtful well-developed house plan and to assist you in selecting quality building components.
If you choose, bring in your own plans or let us work with you to develop your ideas and turn your dreams into reality. We will work together on a preliminary floor plan and front elevation. When you’re satisfied, we will proceed with the elevations and foundation plan to complete a set of working drawings which you can submit to your builder for estimates and get your project rolling.
When your house plans are finalized, we will bill you for the drafting services. At this time, we will work up a material estimate at no additional fee and submit it to your general contractor. At the end of the construction process, we will issue a credit of up to 1/2 the cost of the plans.
New House Plans: $0.42 per square foot (Includes: Preliminary Plans, up to 4 hours of revisions, and Final Plans)
Remodeling/Addition Plans: $48.00 per hour
Additional Copies: $3.50 per sheet
Drawing time for revisions in excess of 4 included hours or made to finalized plans will be billed at $48.00 /hr. plus cost of additional prints

Payment for completed plans will be invoiced to you and due accordingly. In the event that we begin design services and there is no effort made to complete a set of working drawings, we will review the time log for the project and bill accordingly at a rate of $48.00 per hour for the time spent on your project.
